How To Make blistered shishito peppers with sesame garlic sauc
-
Step 1Make the sauce: Whisk together all the ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate if not using right away.
-
Step 2Place the sesame oil, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Whisk until combined. Add the Shishito peppers. Toss until well coated. Set aside while the grill heats.
-
Step 3Start your grill and set to medium high. When ready to cook, toss the peppers once more in the marinade and then place them in a flat grill basket. Put on the grill and cook, using tongs to flip the peppers frequently, until they are evenly blistered and slightly charred. Don't let them burn!
-
Step 4Heap the peppers on a serving dish and serve with the Sesame Garlic sauce alongside.
