Ingredients

1 ccanola oil for fring

2 cbitter ale

1 3/4 cflour

1/2 csesame seeds

2 Tbspcornsarch

1 Tbspbaking powder

3large portabella mushrooms cut into 1/2 in slices
How to Make Beer Battered Portabella Mushrooms
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan
375 degree - Whisk ale,flour,sesame,seeds,cornstarch,and baking powder in a large bowl. Batter will be slightly thick and lumpy
- Dip 7-8 strips of the mushrooms at a time into the batter shaking off excess .
Fry mushrooms in batches in oil
