Ingredients

  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2
    egg yolks (save whites)
  • 2/3 c
    beer any kind but not lite
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 3 to 4 large
    spanish onions
  • 2
    egg whites

How to Make BEER BATTER FOR ONION RINGS

Step-by-Step

  1. Stir flour,salt and pepper into bowl set aside. Beat egg whites until stiff,
  2. Add egg yolks into flour mixture and fold in egg whites and beer. Add vegetable oil.
  3. When batter is well blended dip sliced onions into batter and fry until golden brown.
