bacon cranberry walnut stuffed celery
Okay, I made these for a tea party that we held at our school for the graduating senior girls and their moms. They were a great success and were extremely easy and different.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
These flavorful celery sticks are great for many occasions, such as bridal or baby showers, brunch, game nights, or just for a snack. Cream cheese is mixed with walnuts, Craisins, green onions, garlic powder, and a touch of heavy cream. Once the crispy bacon bits are folded into the filling, it is stuffed into a celery stick. They're crunchy, sweet, smoky, tangy, and easy to make.

How To Make bacon cranberry walnut stuffed celery
-
Step 1Cook bacon (crispy) and drain on paper towels.
-
Step 2Chop walnuts, Craisins, and green onion.
-
Step 3In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, walnuts, Craisins, green onion, heavy cream, and garlic powder. Stir until mixed well.
-
Step 4Fold in the crispy bacon. Refrigerate for 30-60 minutes to combine the flavors.
-
Step 5Clean celery and cut into desired portion size. To stuff celery, carefully spread the cream cheese mixture into each portion of celery. I personally use a piping bag with a LARGE tip. You can do the same with a Ziploc bag with a large hole cut in a corner.
-
Step 6Refrigerate until time to serve. Keep chilled.
