Barb makes Stuffed Mushrooms with sausage (in JAP), while Grandma W used bacon. Both are great, it is simply a matter of which you prefer. However, you can also make some of both!

- 3 pints mushrooms
- 3/4 cup mayo
- 1 - onion, finely chopped
- - season salt
- 10 - strips bacon, fried and crumbled
- 1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese

Step 1Remove stems, place caps in buttered pan. Mix stems, mayo, onion, bacon, season salt and cheese. Fill caps with mixture. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees 10-15 minutes.
