Ingredients

  • 10 asparagus spears
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped shallots
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 10 slices white bread crust removed

How To Make asparagus sandwiches

  • Step 1
    Clean and trim the asparagus. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the asparagus for about 3 minutes. Drain and place on paper towel to dry.
  • Step 2
    Mix the mayo shallots and salt together. Spread the mayo mixture on each slices of bread. Place an asparagus spear on each slice. Roll up and place on serving plate seam side down.
  • Step 3
    You can cut these in half also to make more appetizers.
