Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon tabasco
  • 1 cup cheese, grated
  • 1 - no. 2 can green asparagus, drained
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 - hard boiled eggs (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
  • - bread crumbs, buttered

How To Make asparagus casserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Make cream sauce with flour, butter and milk.
  • Step 3
    Add grated cheese.
  • Step 4
    Season with salt and Tabasco.
  • Step 5
    Alternate layers of asparagus, sliced eggs, sauce and almonds.
  • Step 6
    Top with buttered crumbs.
  • Step 7
    Bake at 350 degrees until heated.
