artichoke spinach dip - mary's version

I have only made this a few times but each time it gets better and now it is being requested for our family get togethers. I served it with several different crackers so that everyone could have what they like. Also, I have used cheddar cheese and Colby Jack and love both of them in this recipe. 12/23/2020

Ingredients

  • 12 ounce jars artichoke -drained,chopped
  • 10 ounces frozen chopped spinach -thawed,drained
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 8 ounces swiss cheese - shredded
  • 8 ounces mozarella - shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 bunch green onion - chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt, pepper, garlic powder, hot sauce (more or less to taste)
  • To taste nutmeg, paprika

How To Make artichoke spinach dip - mary's version

  • Step 1
    Preheat over to 400 degrees. Prepare a 9x13 baking dish, coated with a cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, mix all ingredient until well mixed. Pour into 9x13 pan and spread evenly. Top with grated mozzarella and a sprinkle of paprika. Bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes until lightly browned. Serve with chips, bread or toast.
  • Step 3
    Alternately, 1. Use individual ramekins, sprinkle parmesan cheese on the top of each. Bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes. 2. Use muffin tins lined with puff pastry, spoon 1-2 tablespoons mixture, brush an egg wash on the pastry edges. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on the top of each. bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes.
