7 layer mexican dip

When I was a Longaberger consultant, we had to come up with different ideas for parties, and a fellow consultant shared this recipe to promote Grandma Bonnie's Pie Plate sales! It is really good, and you'll love it!

method Food Processor

Ingredients For 7 layer mexican dip

  • 1 clove
    garlic
  • 1 can
    dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 c
    thick salsa
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder
  • 3/4 tsp
    ground cumin
  • guacamole
  • 2/3 c
    sour cream
  • 3/4 c
    sliced black olives (i actually put on the side)
  • tomatoes, diced
  • green onion, sliced
  • 1/2 c
    shredded cheddar
  • SERVE WITH:
  • tostito scoops or
  • frito scoops (my choice)

How To Make 7 layer mexican dip

  • 1
    Process in food processor: garlic, kidney beans, salsa, chili powder and cumin. Spread in pie plate.

    Layer following ingredients, leaving borders: guacamole, sour cream, tomatoes, cheese, olives, tomatoes.
  • 3
    Serve!
