"that crab stuff" aka layered seafood dip
This is one of my significant other, Larry's, absolute favorite appetizers for me to make for football parties and any other get together we go to. It is easy to put together when you need something in a hurry.

Ingredients
- 2 packages 8 oz. each cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 package good seasons garlic and herb dry salad dressing mix
- 1 bottle seafood cocktail sauce
- 1 package (12 oz.) imitation crab
- 1 package tiny shrimp
- 1 cup finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- - old bay seasoning
How To Make "that crab stuff" aka layered seafood dip

Step 1Soften cream cheese at room temperature. While this is softening, finely chop the package of imitation crab and set aside.

Step 2With hand mixer, beat cream cheese with the mayonnaise until smooth and then beat in the dry garlic and herb dressing mix.

Step 3Spread the cream cheese mixture on a large platter.

Step 4Spread a layer of cocktail sauce over the cream cheese mixture.

Step 5Put imitation crab and shrimp over the cocktail sauce. Sprinkle lightly with Old Bay seasoning.

Step 6Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Serve and enjoy!
