Spicy Shrimp

For the microwave cooking.


  •   1/2 c
    chili sauce
  •   1/2 c
    sweet pickle relish
  •   1/2 c
  •   1/4 tsp
    chili powder
  •   1/2 lb
    medium shrimp,shelled and cleaned

How To Make

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients except for the shrimp in a 1 quart glass casserole. Set microwave oven to high for 5 minutes, and then power level low & defrost for 16 minutes. Stir occasionally during cooking. The sauce should be hot and thickened.

    Stir in shrimp, cover, and microwave on high for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes, or until shrimp are curled, stirring once. Let stand, covered 2 minutes. To serve, skewer with picks or pass with cocktail picks or toothpicks.
