Ingredients
- 16 ounces cream cheese
- 3/4 pound canned crabmeat, flaked
- 1/4 cup green onions minced
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon sweet red pepper flakes
- 2 ounces jar diced pimiento, drained
- 1 tablespoon sauterne wine or any sweet wine will do
- 1 tablespoon chives, fresh chopped
How To Make southern living's confetti crab dip

Step 1Place cream cheese in a 1-quart casserole. Microwave, uncovered, at HIGH for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until softened. Stir well.

Step 2Stir in crabmeat, green onions, mayonnaise, sour cream, and seasonings. Cover with heavy duty plastic wrap and microwave at HIGH for 2 to 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring after 1 minute.

Step 3Stir in pimiento and wine. Sprinkle with chopped fresh chives right before serving to avoid discoloring the dip. Serve warm dip with assorted crackers. Makes 3 1/2-cups.
