smoked salmon tea sandwiches
I fixed these open faced for a dinner party appetizer and my husband, who said he does not like salmon, tried them and loved them. He has since tried other salmon dishes and says he does like some salmon dishes in small doses. It's a work in progress, but these got it started.

Ingredients
- 10 slices rye bread, sliced melba thin
- 8 ounces smoked salmon, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 4 ounces creamy horseradish sauce
- 3 tablespoons red onion, finely diced
- 3 tablespoons capers
How To Make smoked salmon tea sandwiches

Step 1Soften cream cheese and mix with creamy horseradish.

Step 2Mix in diced onion and capers.

Step 3Toast slices of bread.

Step 4Spread cream cheese mixture on toast slices.

Step 5Place salmon slices on half of the slices of toast.

Step 6Top salmon with a slice of toast, cream cheese side down.

Step 7Remove crust from the sandwiches.

Step 8Cut eat sandwich into smaller portions in the shape of triangles or rectangles.

Step 9Arrange sandwiches on plate & cover. Sandwiches may be refrigerated until ready to serve.
