How to Make Smoked Salmon Spread

  1. Bake salmon just until done - remove all bones and skin. Break salmon in tiny pieces in glass or metal bowl with liquid smoke. Toss salmon and thoroughly incorporate; let sit 10 minutes.
  2. Combine cream cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper, lemon juice in an electric mixer until smooth.
  3. Fold in capers and smoked salmon. Mix by hand thoroughly.
  4. Transfer to glass serving bowl, cover and refrigerate at least 3 hrs; overnight is better.
  5. TIP: Smoke Liquid is a very powerful taste - little amounts go a very long way. It will permanently "stain" and fragrance plastic bowls. Use metal or glass bowls only,
