How To Make smoked salmon spread
-
Step 1Bake salmon just until done - remove all bones and skin. Break salmon in tiny pieces in glass or metal bowl with liquid smoke. Toss salmon and thoroughly incorporate; let sit 10 minutes.
-
Step 2Combine cream cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper, lemon juice in an electric mixer until smooth.
-
Step 3Fold in capers and smoked salmon. Mix by hand thoroughly.
-
Step 4Transfer to glass serving bowl, cover and refrigerate at least 3 hrs; overnight is better.
-
Step 5TIP: Smoke Liquid is a very powerful taste - little amounts go a very long way. It will permanently "stain" and fragrance plastic bowls. Use metal or glass bowls only,
