smoked salmon delights
These are a really easy and delicious appetizer for anytime of the year! I'll post a pic next time I make them. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 - french baguette
- 1 small red onion
- 2-3 tablespoons sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 small container of marscapone cheese
- 1 package smoked salmon
- 1 small jar of capers
- - fresh chives diced for garnish
- 1/2 - fresh lemon
How To Make smoked salmon delights

Step 1Slice Bread into 1/2" slices, brush with olive oil and toast until lightly brown, let cool.

Step 2Heat a non-stick pan and thinly slice red onion, add the 2 tbls. of sugar and cook on very low until they are soft and carmelized, add balsamic vinegar at end and set aside.

Step 3For each slice of toasted bread spread spread a thin layer of marscapone cheese, carmelized onions and salmon. Garnish with capers and diced chives. Then give a squeeze of lemon over them. Enjoy!
