    french baguette
  • 1 small
    red onion
  • 2-3 Tbsp
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegar
  • 1 small
    container of marscapone cheese
  • 1 pkg
    smoked salmon
  • 1 small
    jar of capers
  • ·
    fresh chives diced for garnish
  • 1/2
    fresh lemon

How to Make Smoked Salmon Delights


  1. Slice Bread into 1/2" slices, brush with olive oil and toast until lightly brown, let cool.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan and thinly slice red onion, add the 2 tbls. of sugar and cook on very low until they are soft and carmelized, add balsamic vinegar at end and set aside.
  3. For each slice of toasted bread spread spread a thin layer of marscapone cheese, carmelized onions and salmon. Garnish with capers and diced chives. Then give a squeeze of lemon over them. Enjoy!
