These are a really easy and delicious appetizer for anytime of the year! I'll post a pic next time I make them. Enjoy!

french baguette
1 small
red onion
2-3 Tbsp
2-3 Tbsp
balsamic vinegar
1 small
container of marscapone cheese
1 pkg
smoked salmon
1 small
jar of capers
fresh chives diced for garnish
fresh lemon

How to Make Smoked Salmon Delights


  • 1Slice Bread into 1/2" slices, brush with olive oil and toast until lightly brown, let cool.
  • 2Heat a non-stick pan and thinly slice red onion, add the 2 tbls. of sugar and cook on very low until they are soft and carmelized, add balsamic vinegar at end and set aside.
  • 3For each slice of toasted bread spread spread a thin layer of marscapone cheese, carmelized onions and salmon. Garnish with capers and diced chives. Then give a squeeze of lemon over them. Enjoy!
