I like to use a bunch of green onions instead of a small onion. It tastes really good, and that's how I prefer it, but it's still good the original way too!

How to Make SHRIMP SPREAD
- This seemed strange to me the first time I did this, but it works!
- Soak the shrimp in ice water for 10 to 15 minutes.
- While the shrimp are soaking, cream the mayo and cream cheese together. I use my mixer to get it nice and smooth. Mix in the onion.
- Drain the water off of the shrimp, and squeeze out excess water. I do this in my hands. Then gently shred the shrimp, and mix into the cream cheese and mayo.
Spread on your favorite crackers!
