Love simple shrimp recipes and love to BBQ! This appetizer is a good combo of some of the summertime things I love!

  • 1/3 c
  • 1/4 c
    green onion, chopped
  • 1/3 c
    chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c
    sliced fresh mushrooms
  • few dash(es)
    hot pepper sauce
  • 1 lb
    jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined (about 12)

How to Make Shrimp on the Barby


  1. Melt butter, add green onion, parsley, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir but do not cook shrimp through.
  2. Cut 4 squares of foil large enough to fold ingredients into.
  3. Place 3 shrimp on each square. Put 1/4 of seasonings on shrimp. Add 1/4 of the mushrooms on top. Fold foil up tightly.
  4. Place each package directly on coals with seam side up. Cook 10 to 15 minutes. Shake package once during cooking. Remove from coals, cut open and enjoy!
