I've had this recipe for many years. I first made it for a wedding shower and it was a hit.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans shrimp, broken
  • 1 cup swiss cheese, grated
  • 6 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons onion, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons butter, room temperature
  • - soft dinner rolls

How To Make shrimp fantans

  • Step 1
    Place first 5 ingredients in a bow. Toss together. In a separate small bowl, combine mayo and lemon juice. Pour over shrimp mixture. Stir lightly.
  • Step 2
    Cut rolls down centre, not cutting through bottom. Spread inside with butter and stuff with shrimp mixture.
  • Step 3
    Note: If you prefer you can just serve this as a dip rather than stuffing dinner rolls.
