I've had this recipe for many years. I first made it for a wedding shower and it was a hit.

  • 2 can(s)
    shrimp, broken
  • 1 c
    swiss cheese, grated
  • 6 Tbsp
    green pepper, chopped
  • 4 Tbsp
    onion, minced
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 c
  • 2 tsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter, room temperature
  • ·
    soft dinner rolls

How to Make Shrimp Fantans


  1. Place first 5 ingredients in a bow. Toss together. In a separate small bowl, combine mayo and lemon juice. Pour over shrimp mixture. Stir lightly.
  2. Cut rolls down centre, not cutting through bottom. Spread inside with butter and stuff with shrimp mixture.
  3. Note: If you prefer you can just serve this as a dip rather than stuffing dinner rolls.
