Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1-2 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled deveined and cooked
  • 1/2 cup roma tomato, seed and chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 2 avocados, chopped
  • lime wedges for serving

How To Make shrimp cocktail with the flavors of mexico

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, combine catsup, lime juice and hot pepper sauce. Add the cooked (cooled) shrimp, chopped tomato, onion and cilantro. Toss to coat.
  • Step 2
    Avocados should be chopped and added just before serving up the shrimp cocktail. Gently toss to prevent breaking down the avocado.
  • Step 3
    Serve with lime wedges.
