Ingredients
- 16 shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups clam juice or can use water
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Crystal hot sauce
- 1 small onion, small dice
- fresh cilantro
- salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make shrimp cocktail

Step 1Bring the clam juice to a boil and then throw the shrimp in the boiling juice for about 2 minutes or until pink. Have a bowl of ice water ready.

Step 2With a slotted spoon, add the shrimp to the ice water to stop the cooking and allow them to cool down. Reserve the juice.

Step 3To make the sauce, mix 1/2 cup of the clam juice with the ketchup, olive oil, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Taste and season with salt and pepper.

Step 4Serve with onion and cilantro.
