I made this dish especially to my mom, she's a lover of the shrimps and mussels, so I mix both in one easy and fabolous recipe.It's good for a appetiser or main dish with tostones, mofongo or corn stick.

How to Make "Shrimp and Mussels Sauteed"


  1. First clean the shrimps and the mussels and cut the onion, the tomato and the green, yellow and red bell pepper in dice and chopped the garlic and parsley.
  2. In a pan add the olive oil and when is hot add the onion, garlic and the peppers and cook in slow fire because we don't want color we want flavors, cook from 8 to 10 minutes.
  3. Then add the shrimps, the mussels, tomatoes, butter, wine and salt and pepper. cook about 3 minutes and add the parsley and cook another 3 to 5 minutes, remember the shrimps and mussles cook very fast.
  4. In the final before of serve add the parmesan cheese on the top and bon appetit.
