seafood surprise spread (dip)
This is modified from a hand written, "old family recipe" I found. I like to use Dungeness crab meat when I can get it, and fresh Pacific NW shrimp meat, instead of canned shrimp. My family prefers just a thin layer of cocktail sauce. Cook time=Chill time.

Ingredients
- 1-8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1 cup small shrimp and/or crab meat, more to taste
- 1 cup seafood cocktail sauce, less to taste.
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions or chives
- 1/2 cup diced fresh tomato (optional)

Step 1Combine cream cheese, sour cream and mayo. and spread on plate.

Step 2Scatter shrimp and/or crab meat over the top, then add layers of seafood sauce, cheese, onions and tomatoes

Step 3Cover and chill. Serve with crackers.
