Ingredients

  • 16 large white mushroom caps
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup canned crabmeat, flaked
  • 1/4 cup cooked plain shrimp chopped fine
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • - salt nd white pepper to taste
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

How To Make seafood stuff mushroom caps

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to350.*
  • Step 2
    Clean mushrooms .Remove and discard stems.Place unfilled mushrooms on a baking sheet,rounded top up.Brush with melted butter.
  • Step 3
    Bake 4 minutes.Remove from oven and turn mushrooms over.
  • Step 4
    Combine crabmeat,shrimp,nutmeg and seasonings.Beat cheese until smooth,and fold it into seafood mixture.
  • Step 5
    Stuff each cap with seasoned cream cheese mixture and broil until bubbly.
