  • 16 large
    white mushroom caps
  • 1/4 c
    melted butter
  • 1/4 c
    canned crabmeat, flaked
  • 1/4 c
    cooked plain shrimp chopped fine
  • 1 pinch
  • ·
    salt nd white pepper to taste
  • 2 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature

How to Make Seafood Stuff Mushroom Caps


  1. Preheat oven to350.*
  2. Clean mushrooms .Remove and discard stems.Place unfilled mushrooms on a baking sheet,rounded top up.Brush with melted butter.
  3. Bake 4 minutes.Remove from oven and turn mushrooms over.
  4. Combine crabmeat,shrimp,nutmeg and seasonings.Beat cheese until smooth,and fold it into seafood mixture.
  5. Stuff each cap with seasoned cream cheese mixture and broil until bubbly.
