I got this recipe from a real estate agent a long time ago,but the recipe is still good today.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    sifted flour
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 4
    eggs
  • FILLING;

  • 1 can(s)
    or 1 frozen package crab meat
  • 1 can(s)
    shrimp
  • 1 c
    mushroom soup
  • 1/4 c
    green pepper, minced
  • 1 small
    jar pimiento, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • dash(es)
    cayenne pepper
  • 3 Tbsp
    sherry
  • 1 c
    buttered bread crumbs

How to Make SEAFOOD PUFFS

Step-by-Step

  1. To make the puffs: Mix flour & salt. Heat water & butter in saucepan until butter melts. Add flour all at once & beat vigorously over low heat until mixture leaves sides of pan.
    Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
    Drop small teaspoonsful on greased baking sheet one inch apart.
    Bake at 400^ for 15-25 minutes; watching closely.
    Split when cool & fill with seafood filling.
  2. Filling: Combine all ingredients. Fill puffs and put on cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350^ for 8-10 minutes.
    Will fill about 50 puffs.
