  • 1 can(s)
    salmon - drained *see notes
  • 1/4 Tbsp
    liquid smoke flavoring * see notes
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 1/4 c
    chopped green onion
  • 1/4 tsp
    lemon juice

How to Make Salmon Spread - Smoked or Not Smoked


  1. Bring cream cheese to room temperature.
  2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Shape into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap.
  3. Chill for at least 8 hours.
  4. Serve with crackers or sliced sour dough bread.
  5. ** NOTES:

    I do not give a can size in my recipe because you can used as much or as little salmon as your taste dictates.

    If you do not care for the flavor of smoked products, omit the liquid smoke flavoring.

    If you do like the taste of smoked products you might consider using smoked salmon rather than canned salmon.
