Ingredients
- SALMON EGG ROLLS
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon sambal olek
- 4 3 oz portions of salmon filets
- 4 large egg roll wrapper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- MAPLE SOY REDUCTION
- 1 1/2 cups maple syrup
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
How To Make salmon egg rolls with maple reduction

Step 1Make the reduction Add the Maple Syrup, soy sauce and dark brown sugar to a saucepan. Bring to a boil watching that it don't boil over and reduce heat to low and let reduce by 1/2..Set aside to cool.

Step 2Make the egg rolls Combine the soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, garlic, ginger and sambal in a bowl. Add the salmon pieces and marinate 1 hour.

Step 3Preheat oven 400 degrees. Lay out the 4 egg roll wrappers and a little dish of water and a pastry brush.

Step 4Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the marinade. Lay a piece of salmon on each egg roll. Brush the water around the edges. Fold up according to directions on the egg roll package.

Step 5In a oven safe skillet add the oil. Once oil is hot brown the salmon egg rolls on all side. Place in oven and bake about 7 minutes.

Step 6Remove from oven. Cut each egg roll in half diagonal and serve with Maple soy reduction. Garnish with chives if desired.
