This is a really easy recipe packed with flavor. I like to make it a day ahead so that the flavors really have time to marry. Serve this with some assorted crackers and watch it disappear

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cooked and flaked salmon ( can use 1 large can)
  • 8 ounces package of cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons grated onion
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • - parsley, chopped to garnish

How To Make salmon ball appetizer

  • Step 1
    Mix all of your ingredients except pecans and parsley together. Roll into a ball and chill. After a couple of hours cover with the chopped pecans. Sprinkle with some chopped parsley if desired.
  • Step 2
    If you use canned salmon, be sure to remove skin and all bones. If you use fresh, just bake at 350 until flaky.
