  • ·
    9 oz. small prawns, (shrimp)
  • ·
    2 tsp. lemon juice
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • ·
    16 waqter cracker biscuits
  • ·
    4 sandwich cheese slices

How to Make Prawn Melts


  1. Reserve 16 shrimp for garnish and chop the remainder. Mix in lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  2. Put a teaspoonful of mixture on each cracker. Cut cheese slice into quarters and place a piece over shrimp mixture then garnish top with a reserved shrimp.
  3. Place under a hot grill til cheese melts and covers the shrimp filling. This will fix the shrimp garnish in place.
