These are fun to make, and you can make this recipe and use a variety of meat salads for a gathering. Holidays, or just a few friends over, they will simply love these. Make a selection of tarts filled with chicken salad, corned beef salad, tuna salad, and seafood salad. Have fun entertaining.

  • 6 ounces chilled cream cheese
  • 1 cup chilled butter
  • 2 cups flour

How To Make pastry shells for meat salads

  • Step 1
    cut cheese and butter into flour.
  • Step 2
    form in a ball, chill 2 hours
  • Step 3
    shape into 48 balls
  • Step 4
    press into, or "onto muffin pans, sprayed with cooking spray. ( press them on outside of sprayed cups and bake pan upside down. makes it easy to remove them
  • Step 5
    bake 350 degrees 7 -10 minutes when cool, fill with your meat salads
