Ingredients

  • 24 - oysters
  • - rock salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

How To Make oysters in cream

  • Step 1
    Open oysters and remove from shells. Wash 24 half shells. Place an oyster in each. Set in shallow baking pan filled with rock salt. Pour 2 t. cream over each oyster. Sprinkle each with 2 t. cheese and 1 t. melted butter. Place under a preheated broiler just until the edges curl and the cheese is lightly browned. Makes 6 servings.
