This is so good.......Yum-Yum.......It is really good after it sit for a while and microwave for 30 seconds.

yield 48 bit size pieces.

Ingredients

  • 3 - bacon strips, diced
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms.
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can (6 oz.) crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed or 1 cup of chopped imitatio crameat.
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded swiss cheese.
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, soften
  • 6 - english muffins, split
  • - dash each cayenne pepper and paprika

How To Make mushroom crab melts.......

  • Step 1
    In skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp; remove to paper towel. Reserve 2 tbls. dripping. Saute mushrooms and onion in dripping until tender. In a large bowl combine crab,Swiss cheese,mayo,mushroom mixture, Parmesan cheese and bacon. Spread butter over muffins halves. Top with crab mixture; sprinkle with cayenne and paprika. Place on ungreased baking sheet at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Use pizza cutter and cut into 4 pieces per muffin....
