Ingredients

3bacon strips, diced

1 csliced fresh mushrooms.

1/4 cchopped onion
-
1 can(s)(6 oz.) crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed or 1 cup of chopped imitatio crameat.

1 c(4 oz.) shredded swiss cheese.

1/2 cmayonnaise
-
1/3 cgrated parmesan cheese
-
2 Tbspbutter, soften
-
6english muffins, split
-
·dash each cayenne pepper and paprika
How to Make Mushroom Crab Melts.......
- In skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp; remove to paper towel. Reserve 2 tbls. dripping. Saute mushrooms and onion in dripping until tender. In a large bowl combine crab,Swiss cheese,mayo,mushroom mixture, Parmesan cheese and bacon.
Spread butter over muffins halves. Top with crab mixture; sprinkle with cayenne and paprika. Place on ungreased baking sheet at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Use pizza cutter and cut into 4 pieces per muffin....
