mmmmm! parmesean shrimp

In Louisiana, seafood is big, but sometimes I don't feel like boiled, so this recipe is a nice change. This is one of my friend and families favorite dishes.

Ingredients

  • 24 - large-jumbo shrimp
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • - lemon juice,fresh
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 cup italian bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesean cheese
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make mmmmm! parmesean shrimp

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Peel and devein shrimp, leaving tails intact. Mix together olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and salt and pepper in a bowl.
  • Step 3
    Add shrimp and toss lightly to coat. Place in fridge for 30-60 minutes to marinade.
  • Step 4
    In shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Place each shrimp in bread crumb mixture and turn them to lightly coat both sides
  • Step 5
    Arrange shrimp so that they aren't touching each other on a ungreased baking sheet. Drizzle with melted butter
  • Step 6
    Place pan on the center rack of oven and bake for 10 minutes till shrimp are golden crunchy.
