This was a recipe that I got from my late step-daughter. It's a must-have for our holidays.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 10 3/4 ounces cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 1/4 ounce knox unflavored gelatin
  • 7 ounces crab
  • 1/2 cup green onion, finely chopped

How To Make michele's crab spread

  • Step 1
    Dissolve gelatin in 3 tablespoons cold water. Add to boiling, cream of celery soup. Stir well to dissolve gelatin. Take mix off burner. Cool completely.
  • Step 2
    Cream and mash cream cheese. Add mayonnaise and mix well. Add cooled mix, chopped celery, onion, and crab.
  • Step 3
    Mix well.
  • Step 4
    Put in mold or bowl and refrigerate until set.
  • Step 5
    Serve with party bread, crackers, or chips.
