I made these for my husband's birthday on Oct. 20th and everyone loved them.
I got the recipe from a cookbook called the Whistle Stop Restaurant Cookbook.

  • 2 lb
    raw, peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 3 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp
    lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/8 tsp

How to Make Lime Garlic Broiled Shrimp


  1. Thaw shrimp, if frozen. Preheat broiler.
    Cook garlic in butter until tender; remove from heat and add lime juice, and salt and pepper.
  2. Arrange shrimp in a single layer in a fifteen by ten by two inch baking pan.
    Pour sauce over shrimp.
  3. Broil about four inches from heat for eight to ten minutes or until shrimp are pink and tender.
