layered crabmeat appetizer
Many years ago, someone in the family collected recipes from descendants of my great grandparents, William M. and Florence E. (Snodgrass) Whaley and had them compiled into a cookbook. I am posting those recipes here so that they will not be lost. This recipe was submitted by Darlene Whaley.

Ingredients
- 12 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons grated onion
- 1 pinch garlic salt
- 12 ounces bottle cocktail sauce
- 4 ounces can crabmeat, drained
- - chopped parsley
- - ritz crackers
How To Make layered crabmeat appetizer

Step 1Mix cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, grated onion and garlic salt.

Step 2Spread mixture on 14-inch glass plate. .

Step 3Cover mixture with cocktail sauce.

Step 4Sprinkle crabmeat over cocktail sauce.

Step 5Sprinkle parsley on top of crabmeat.

Step 6Cover with plastic wrap.

Step 7Keep refrigerated for at least 12 hours before serving
