I am always asked for the recipe for this. Everyone wants to know what is in it!! The last time I made it, I added the zest of one lemon. It was very, very good!

Ingredients
- 2 cans minced clams plus juice
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- dash pepper
- 1 cup bread crumbs (approximately)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt or more to taste
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley or equivalent of fresh
- - parmesan cheese, for sprinkling
How To Make hot clam spread

Step 1Mix all ingredients together except Parmesan cheese. Be sure to add bread crumbs last, as more or less than 1 cup may be needed, depending on amount of clam juice.

Step 2Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Step 3Bake at 350° for 20 minutees.

Step 4Serve with crackers.
