Ingredients
- 2 cans 6.5 oz minced clams, drained
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1.2 - bell pepper, minced
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pinch paprika
How To Make hot clam dip

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine minced clams and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Bring mixture to a simmer. Simmer for 15 minutes.

Step 2In a medium size saucepan, combine butter, onion, bell pepper, parsley, oregano, hot sauce, and red pepper. Stir vegetables over a medium-low heat until butter is melted. Mix in the clams and breadcrumbs.

Step 3Pour mixture into an ovenproof pie place and top with cheddar cheese and sprinkle with paprika. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes. You can microwave also until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve with crackers.
