Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 pound medium shrimp, shelled & deveined
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
How To Make hawaiian sesame shrimp
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Toast sesame seeds until golden brown. (You can also do this on the stove in a non-stick skillet - but be careful not to burn the seeds. This will reduce cooking time).
-
Step 2Heat oils in heavy pan over high heat. Add the shrimp, green onion, salt, pepper and sugar. Stir fry for 1 to 3 minutes.
-
Step 3Reduce heat to low, add soy sauce and stir. Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve hot.
