Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pound medium shrimp, shelled & deveined
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

How To Make hawaiian sesame shrimp

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Toast sesame seeds until golden brown. (You can also do this on the stove in a non-stick skillet - but be careful not to burn the seeds. This will reduce cooking time).
  • Step 2
    Heat oils in heavy pan over high heat. Add the shrimp, green onion, salt, pepper and sugar. Stir fry for 1 to 3 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Reduce heat to low, add soy sauce and stir. Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve hot.
