Being from Florida a good crab cake is a staple for any good get together. This one is easy to do, I like to make extra to freeze for those occassions when I want a quick snack.

Ingredients For gulf style crab cakes

1 lbcrabmeat

1 citalian seasoned bread crumbs

1 lgegg
-
1/4 cmayonnaise

1/2 tspsalt
-
1/4 tspfreshly ground pepper

1 tspworcestershire sauce

1 tspdry mustard

1 tspold bay seasoning
-
vegetable oil for frying
How To Make gulf style crab cakes

1In a large bowl mix bread crumbs, egg, mayonnaise, and seasonings. Add crabmeat to the mixture gently but thoroughly. (If mixture seems a little dry add a touch more mayonnaise.

2Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate overnight. This allows the flavors to blend.

3Shape mixture into six cakes. Cook until browned(350 for about 10 minutes)
