Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • chives, for garnish
  • lemon slices, for serving

How To Make garlic butter shrimp

  • Step 1
    Season the shrimp with salt. Add olive oil to a saucepan.
  • Step 2
    Add the shrimp and cook 2 minutes on each side. Remove shrimp to a plate.
  • Step 3
    Add the garlic and cook until lightly browned. Add the white wine and let most of it evaporate.
  • Step 4
    Add the butter and lemon juice, and add the shrimp back to the pan. Cook another 3 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Garnish with chives and serve with lemon wedges.
