Easy fried calamari, ( squid.)

Ingredients

1 lbcleaned calamari, tantacles intact.
-
3/4 cflour
-
1/2 tspeach salt and pepper.

1 cmarinara sauce for dipping

1 ccanola oil for frying
How to Make Easy fried calamari, ( squid.)
- Cut calamari into 1/2"-rings. In a lg plastic resealable bag, combine flour, salt and peper.
- Add calamari in small batches and toss until fully coated w/ flour mix.
- In lg deep skilllet, heat oil over med-high heat until hot. Fry calamari, in small batches for 4-6 min, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve w/ warmed marinara sauce.
