A friend of mine made this about 20 years ago and I HAD TO HAVE the recipe. It's expensive to make but well worth it for special occasions.

Ingredients

2 lb
cooked shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 medium
red onion, thinly sliced
1 c
black olives, sliced
1/2 c
roasted red pepper, chopped
2 clove
garlic, minced
1 medium
bay leaf
2 Tbsp
parsley flakes

DRESSING

1/2 c
lemon juice
1/4 c
olive oil
1 Tbsp
dry mustard
1 Tbsp
salt
2 Tbsp
red wine vinegar
1 dash(es)
cayenne pepper

How to Make Devilish Shrimp Salad

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place shrimp, onion, olives, roasted red pepper, garlic, parsley and bay leaf in a large bowl.
  • 2in a smaller bowl, combine lemon juice, olive oil, dry mustard, salt, red wine vinegar and cayenne. Mix well and pour over shrimp.
  • 3Mix to combine and chill. Remove bay leaf before serving.
