Creamy Crab Dip

This dip is very pretty, dotted with bits of red pepper. you'll probably find all the ingredients in your pantry. Water biscuits, toasted brioche or endive spears would make great dippers.

8 oz
cream cheese, at room temperature
1/3 c
1 tsp
fresh lemon juice
1 tsp
prepared white horseradish
1/4 tsp
celery salt
8 oz
lump crab meat, picked over to remove any bits of shell or cartilage, and well drained
2 Tbsp
finely chopped red bell pepper
scallion, finely chopped


1In medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, horseradish and celery salt. Mix until well blended.
2Stir in crab, bell pepper and scallion.
3Transfer to a small serving bowl, cover and chill for 2 hour or overnight to allow flavors to develop.
4Remove from refrigerator about 15 minutes before serve.
