The cocktail sauce really stepped this appetizer up! The sweet relish, the horseradish and the Louisiana hot sauce really made for a great flavor combination.

Ingredients For cream cheese shrimp cocktail appetizers

  • 30 md
    cooked shrimp (rinsed, patted dry and tails cut off) tiny salad shrimp can be used also
  • 1 c
    ketchup (Brooks is best)
  • 3-4 tsp
    hot horseradish
  • 1-2 tsp
    sweet relish (drained)
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • few dashes tobassco sauce or louisiana hot sauce
  • 1 sm
    container whipped Philadelphia Cream Cheese (with or with out chives)
  • 30
    Rtz or Townhouse crackers

How To Make cream cheese shrimp cocktail appetizers

    Mix together ketchup, horseradish, sweet relish, lemon juice, Tabasco in small bowl ... spread a small spoon of whipped cream cheese on each cracker making a small well in center, add a small amount of cocktail sauce in well, place 1 shrimp in center or 2 small salad shrimp. Make up party platter with sprigs of parsley for garnish and Enjoy !
