Cream Cheese Shrimp Cocktail Appetizers

The cocktail sauce really stepped this appetizer up! The sweet relish, the horseradish and the Louisiana hot sauce really made for a great flavor combination. The Test Kitchen
30 mediumcooked shrimp (rinsed, patted dry and tails cut off) tiny salad shrimp can be used also
1 cketchup (Brooks is best)
3-4 tsphot horseradish
1-2 tspsweet relish (drained)
2 tsplemon juice
·few dashes tobassco sauce or louisiana hot sauce
1 smallcontainer whipped Philadelphia Cream Cheese (with or with out chives)
30Rtz or Townhouse crackers
How to Make Cream Cheese Shrimp Cocktail Appetizers
- Mix together ketchup, horseradish, sweet relish, lemon juice, Tabasco in small bowl ... spread a small spoon of whipped cream cheese on each cracker making a small well in center, add a small amount of cocktail sauce in well, place 1 shrimp in center or 2 small salad shrimp. Make up party platter with sprigs of parsley for garnish and Enjoy !
- Note: You can omit the hot by using other horseradish of your choice.
