Found this recipe in an old cookbook, but it called for 1 stick of butter (I couldn't do that), so I revised it. These you can freeze and just take out as many as you need when company comes.

1 package english muffins, split
1 - 5oz jars old english cheese spread
1/2 teaspoon mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1-7oz can crabmeat
1/2 stick butter at room temperature

How To Make crabmeat appetizers

Step 1

Blend everything except the English muffins. Spread on English muffin halves. Freeze on cookie sheet, then cut each muffin in 4th while still frozen and store in freezer bag until ready to use.

Step 2

Broil until top is browned and cheese is hot, approximately 3 minutes.
