crabby football cheese spread
This recipe I got from an old friend who has now passed. I doctored it up for my own taste. I make it every year for the Super Bowl in this shape of a football. And for other occasions, I make it just because... it tastes so very good.

Ingredients
- 1 package cream cheese, room temperature (8 oz.)
- 2 cups sharp shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 cup canned crabmeat, flaked, drain juice
- 1 teaspoon horseradish
- 1/2 cup cocktail sauce
- - pretzels sticks and assorted crackers/vegetables

Step 1In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, ricotta, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, and horseradish till smooth.

Step 2Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Form mixture into the shape of a football. Place pretzels on top for laces.

Step 3Serve with crackers and or vegetables.
