This is kind of a play on Clams Casino, only with crab meat and no bread mixture.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh crabmeat, picked over for shells
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Crystal hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 2 lemons, cut in half
  • fresh oregano, chopped for garnish

How To Make crab with bacon and spicy mayo

  • Step 1
    Heat the broiler to high. Spray 4 ramekins with cooking spray. Add the crabmeat to each dish. Top with the crumbled bacon.
  • Step 2
    Mix the mayonnaise with the remaining ingredients, except lemon and oregano.
  • Step 3
    Broil for about 5 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Remove from the oven and squeeze half a lemon over each ramekin. Garnish with oregano.
