crab mix in cherry tomatoes
I remember this came out of a California Recipe Book my sister gave me once. I have made this for different parties as a fun appetizer and everyone really loves both stuffed veggies! These are easy to prepare and largely inexpensive. PLEASE go to next recipe for the Salmon Mix in Snow Peas to complete the look above and to add interest to your presentation.

How To Make crab mix in cherry tomatoes
-
Step 1In a small bowl dissolve gelatin in water. Heat soup until boiling, add dissolved gelatin and stir. Remove from heat. In a large bowl mix cream cheese and mayonnaise until well blended. Add lemon juice, onion, celery, water chestnuts and crabmeat. Blend well. Fold in soup mixture. Cool but don't allow to set up firmly as you need to add mixture to tomatoes.

Step 2Cherry Tomatoes: Cut off stem end and hollow out, leaving a 1/4 inch shell. Lightly salt and turn tomatoes upside down on paper towel. Let stand for about 30 minutes. Fill the tomatoes with crab mixture and refrigerate.
