  • 8 ounces whipped cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 medium lemon, zested
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 8 ounces pasteurized crab meat
  • 4 stalks scallions, chopped
  • 40 mini phyllo cups, unthawed
  • parsley, chopped for garnish

How To Make crab canapes

  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. With a handheld mixer on medium speed, mix the cream cheese, egg, lemon zest and juice, salt, and Old Bay until creamy.
  • Step 2
    Fold in the crab and scallions.
  • Step 3
    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Fill the phyllo cups and place on the baking sheet.
