soft bread crumbs, lightly packed
2 Tbsp
1 tsp
dry mustard
1/2 tsp
1/8 tsp
egg yolks, beaten
1 Tbsp
olive oil


1/2 c
1 Tbsp
tomato paste
1 1/2 tsp
fresh dill
hot sauce
1 small
tomato, chopped

How to Make Crab Cakes with Tomato Dill Sauce


  • 1Mix all ingredients except Tomato Dill Sauce and oil.
  • 2Shape mixture into 8 patties, each about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
  • 3Cover and refrigerate about 1 1/2 hours or until firm.
  • 4Prepare Tomato Dill Sauce; cover and refrigerate until serving.
  • 5Heat oil in 10 inch skillet over medium high heat.
  • 6Cook patties in oil about 5 minutes, turning once, until light brown on both sides.
  • 7Serve with sauce.
  • 8TOMATO DILL SAUCE: Mix all ingredients.
